Swim film
Some 35mm film scans from our early morning swim earlier this week using my new Voigtlander 35mm. So stoked. I think I’m finally happy with my Leica setup.

Following suit of our sunrise bike rides, we made it out to a nearby natural pool just out of town for a foggy morning swim.
Finally feel like I've finally finished my Leica puzzle with the Voigtlander 35mm f1.4. I guess we will see when I get film back hey.
After my pals in Sometimes used one of my images for their single cover, it got me thinking about art directing for musicians again and I put together a few LP concepts. Would absolutely love to see these used for album art.
I was waiting on a handful of parts for my Leica M6 from America for just over a month, finally arrived and after a shit load of time on YouTube and repair forums I thought I’d give it a go myself. Ran a test roll through to check all shutter speeds and alignment. Success.
Artwork for my friends debut single - That’s Just Life.
Old frame from Kew Gardens.
Slide film is absolute witchcraft, and nobody can convince me otherwise.
Pentax 67, 105mm f2.4, very expired Velvia 100
A month or so ago now my Leica M6 ate shit because I thought I was cool and kept it on a shoelace. Lesson learned I managed to source some parts for repair and along with a few helpful people online I finally got it back up and running. Big thanks to Tamarkin camera repair in the US for the parts and advice.
I’ve been making a point to keep some kind of camera close whenever I’ve been out and about. Here’s a roll of FP4 from some of my morning rides.
Back in 2017 I went to and from Hong Kong for a few commercial jobs and I was always sure to take my medium format. I shot quite a bit out there but for some reason didn’t really care much for the scans I got back at the time. With all this free time on my hands going back and doing a re-scan was a smart thing to do to breathe a bit of life into what I originally thought was trash film.
